That's the deal. It's easy to say we should have won because we played our worst game in 2 years. Our common opponents are similar if you give credit to playing A&M on the road. You don't have to be a spirit homer to say there's no excuse to lose to State. They were playing Williams most of the game and he's not good. The offense played awful and freeze called another bad game. Not scoring a TD on offense was indicative of how good state's defense was and how we couldn't score in the red zone against good defenses. We better improve our efficiency or we will see more heartbreaking losses.

Yeah those weren't my actual thoughts. I was mocking how State beating ole miss changes the narrative for state's season. Lots of state fans I know were talking about firing Mullen when they were sitting at 4-6. I treat this message board like a joke because it is. But it's not even fun to come here when it's just a click of 10 dudes who regurgitate each other's opinions.

When we got to 4-3 staring a 3 game losing streak in the face coming up, I still said that we should see how our team fights in the last 5 games. If the team gave up, fire him, if they fight, keep him.

Again I don't take this site seriously, and I say shite to troll people. The fact that I'm getting serious replies to a ridiculous post tells me it's working. Also to be fair, Mullen has been quoted saying going 1-11 and beating ole miss is better than going 11-1 and losing to ole miss. That's your program's ambassador.
