The same could be said for Mullen during the 2012 Egg Bowl. We had so many opportunities to be leading that game by a touchdown going into half. Once y'all stopped us at the goal line, I knew it was over.

Believing you are good and actually being good are 2 different things, obviously.

Disagree.

As some of your fellow fans have said, yall were soft and we exposed that. You took a kick back in the 1st 5 min of the game, had a TD on a blown coverage, amd a meaningless TD in the 4th. Meanwhile, we did whatever we wanted on offense.

In 2013, it took our QB playing the worst game of his career, missing our 2 best OL, and OT in Starkville for State beat us.

I know - a win is a win is a win and kudos to yalls DL for controlling the LOS. But comparing the 12 and 13 EBs is pretty off base imo.

one game was over by half.

The other was over at the end of the 1st OT.

Nah, weren't we tied at 17 at the half in '12?

I think almost losing to Troy was a worst played game. The Bama game in '12 is the worst game yall have played in a few years. We didnt score an offensive TD. Thats a bad game.

Yes. It was over roughly halfway through the 3rd.

uh no, we we're tied at half 17-17. We had so many opportunities to be up by 2 touchdowns at half, but we didn't take advantage. Y'all had the MO going into half which showed in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

2012 against A&M is one of the worst football games I've ever seen at any level.

I was watching it in a bar in Athens before our game that day and I had some pretty hard chuckles

State and Ole Miss have had worse blowouts than State vs. A&M in 2012, but I've never seen a team less prepared. No one looked like they wanted to be there, knew what was going on, and totally devoid of any type of emotion.

I'm a pretty level headed guy, but I wanted to fight our coaching staff after that game.

That was our 2011 team every game other than Arky.

We played a 3rd string freshman/likely career backup for 3 quarters. Those excuses are weak, we sucked in 2012 and y'all beat us. Looking back that was probably Mullen's worst team. They were soft, lazy, horrible scheme on def, etc. Even our 2009 squad would have beat them. 2013 was the 1st year we saw a marked improvement from August to Nov since 2010 and it showed in the Egg Bowl.
