If Bentley was truly injury related then he wouldn't get 3 garbage time carries a game.

I thought turf toe and a sprained toe were the same thing?

His toe hurts when he cuts?

But yeah. He wouldn't be getting garbage time carries if that was the case.

I thought turf toe was almost like an ingrown toenail.

Which I had a lot of those over the years and they fricking suck.

No dude it is when the bone (metatarsal) of your toe (usually the big toe) starts coming through the soul of foot.

I’ve dealt with something similar and that shite sucks hard. There are two tiny bones at the bottom of the ball of your big toes.. sesamoids I believe. If they become bruised, you can experience some painful swelling of the big toe area. Then you naturally start trying to compensate by shifting weight to the outer area of your foot, which then becomes sore (unless you have crutches).

Unrelated but just read this article from 247.. As of now, CBS projects us to host Clemson in the playoff. LINK

Edit: As Insideradvantage stated in another thread, Rat Poison, but I was admittedly curious about the current projections..

This is what I keep thinking. Plenty of people know the truth. We just don’t.

Damnit, don't you folks know how to do a Google search?

quote:

Turf toe is a sprain of the big toe's metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint that occurs when the toe is forced to bend too far upwards.

And the visual thought of the toe bone protruding out of the sole...

As others have said , it’s a sprain of the ligament between the first metatarsal and the proximal phalanx of the great toe. Or in layman’s terms, the ligament between the piggy that went to market and the foot bone.

I feel like this would be an ideal first round matchup (assuming we don’t get the first round bye, and assuming we make the damn playoffs). Both reputable programs. I feel we would boatrace them esp at home.
