If Lacy goes, we need a stud RB. There is no reason not to go get one. Running game really opens up everything else.

Issue, with everything, is timing. Need to be aggressive in the portal since there's only 1 window this year and it only lasts 2 weeks. But without knowing our QB and RB situation, it's hard to portal in starters there. WRs will be hesitant to join without knowing the QB situation.

Kyle Parker was expected to be WR1 at LSU next year... Would be a really good get..

We really need get a QB soon. Even if he gets a waiver we going need a good backup.. Think signing early is better then waiting longer.

Need to figure out who is staying. If we get Chambliss and Lacy back, get them a couple good offensive tackles and this offense is good to go

Chambliss is really getting screwed by this waiver delay. He would be the top QB in the portal, but by the time the decision is made by the NCAA the big spenders may have already committed their quarterback money.

Lane is absolutely desperate to get him to Red Stick. We saw that he missed on evaluating Simmons and how this season would have gone very differently if Simmons hadn't gotten hurt.

It would be hilarious if CWJ ended up going to New York...

which side is offense and which side is defense based on who the shark is for defense or offensive player.

Pretty sure he did period before the shark last night right before a DB was announced

What about SMK? Does he stay or go?

Ben said he thinks Lacy stays. Not sure how accurate that is or if he's just hopeful, but if Lacy stays I don't think Trinidad would leave with him and judge here if he gets his waiver

Pete needs to put out a hieroglyphic guide or give us some decoder rings

Khalil Barnes commits to Georgia. Transfer safety from Clemson we were hoping to get. Was set to visit after spending today in athens - though they clearly gave him enough to go ahead and commit

Doubt we'd still be fighting this hard if we thought he was leaving

We are offering him 1.8 million..LSU has lost 6 O-LINEMEN..even with the portal your only going to get 1-2 good ones..and I don't know anything about their o line coach so I would think twice about transferring there..will be in a better situation in 2 more years but who knows what happens if he struggles next year

I’m sure he is. And I’m sure we would pull out all the stops to keep him.

But can LSU or us afford to sit out the QB portal based on a chance that TC might get a waiver? Are we willing to take a second tier, back up option as a placeholder to keep the starter position open?

Both On3 and 247 are reporting that the Rebels have agreed to terms to bring back punter Oscar Bird and kicker Lucas Carneiro.

Keeping Lucas would be a massive win
