Lane getting his 3rd choice at quarterback isn’t sitting well with LSU fans but they will never admit it.

Waiting on them, and Lee still to be finalized.

In a late night twist LSU feels really good about its chances with Demond Williams, who just entered the portal.

Going in some insiders said Leavitt was lane’s number one, but other offensive staff members are concerned about his injury recovery.

For that I’d probably prefer Williams but happy with either…of course fighting Oregon for Demond will be a bitch

No one believes this.

I truly hope we have better contract language than whatever Washington put in their deal.

You can believe whatever you want Jackie said this long before Trinidad or Sorsby signed.

Jackie Daytona on the board is actually Unluckytiger on the rant…when he talks it’s worth monitoring. He said in November LSU is heading out West for its QB and it wasn’t Leavitt. So LSU has been talking to Demond for awhile.

Think we take 1 TE if it's the right one. Otherwise we may just roll with Hasz and Odom

I think we need another TE. We really only have Hayden Bradley other than Hasz and Odom. Never heard anything about Bradley so I assume he won’t be a big contributor. None of them are big body blocking TEs and we need depth too. I think we take 1 more even if it’s just a primary blocker. Ideally we would get another well rounded TE.

I’m not saying he didn’t have a strong want for him but there wouldn’t have been any better situation for Lane than bringing Trinidad along with CWJ to LSU.

Think with how everything has gone down.. That is the reason it taking time for the Ole Miss account is not dropping till everything is signed and done. I am sure our contracts have stuff to make sure it can't happen or if it does.. Go same way UGA is going with the one player

I don’t think anyone disagrees that Trinidad is ideal given his experience in Lane’s offense.

I was just commenting on the “not sitting well with LSU fans” post. I haven’t seen a single poster worried about Leavitt of Demond minus some concern about the injury, not his talent.

Lacy falling through with the win is the only bummer so far in the portal. Had been dreaming of a Berry/Lacy tandem for awhile now

Looks like this thing with demond Williams is going to be an ordeal. He already signed an agreement with Washington and then backed out. Apparently announced it on Instagram while a bunch of UW players were at a memorial service. Thamel saying Washington going to fight it. Can't imagine you'd want him back after this but will be hilarious if the ncaa finally goes after someone for tampering.

LSU inside baws are confident it’ll be Demond.

Most NIL contracts are not employment contracts, so Washington can’t stop Demond from transferring from LSU. A lawsuit would refer to how/if Demond owes UW for breaching the contract

I’d prefer y’all take Demond over any of the other options.

A 5’10”, 180lbs qb is going to play extremely well behind that oline.

Wait, that’s the guy they are going through all this for?
