I’ve been spoiled as a baseball fan the last two years watching the Rebs & the Braves both win it all. Fate was bound to give me a rough go of it

Woof

I think we can all bury this team

No more of this “ well if we can go 12-6 down the stretch we can sneak in to blah blah “

We suck and don’t deserve a birth in the tournament

This is not a fire Bianco post because that ship has sailed. However, that natty was most all player driven last year and in spite of Mike. At this point, you have to think we’d be better than this had he rode off into the sunset. But again, don’t matter.

3-12 in the SEC with the best bats in the country coming to town next weekend. 3-15 is the most likely scenario I see after next weekend.

Just saw someone say we've lost 8 straight series to State in baseball?!

Yep. May as we’ll be an auto 2 wins a season for them at this point.

8 straight to little brother is correct. I’ll be honest, had we beaten them 8 straight series, I’d feel like we sorta own them. But I digress.

Correction: it’s seven straight. 2020 season canceled due to COVID.

We’ll beat LSU once next weekend. But that will be it, so 4-14 is what it will be. You gotta damn near try to be 4-14 to be 4-14.

Baseball and football are kind of different but is it a rivalry when one team is winning all the time ?

I mean damn.

This is false. He shuffled the pitching rotation and lineup at the very end of the year and everything started working.

Not saying the players had nothing to do with it....but it was a mix of everything all coming together at once.

Peyton Chatagnier is hitting .098 in conference play. He has 5 hits and has struck out 16 times.

TJ McCants isn't much better. He is hitting .160 in conference play and has 8 hits to 19 Ks.

And what the hell is going on with Mason Nichols? He was our go-to closer last year and this year he's been garbage and his appearances have screwed us on multiple occasions.

We've got 3 or guys who've been really good, but boy oh boy, we've got three or four others who've been complete garbage and it's been our undoing. When it's like that, the baseball gods don't cooperate either, i.e. the rocket Alderman hit with the bases loaded yesterday that barely pushed across one run but had it gone left or right of the third baseman a foot it might have cleared the bases. Then Calarco hits into a double play and the whole shebang is shut down just like that.

If we didn’t have a title I would be mad. But as it stands, I’ll chill, let Bianco have his shite year and expect a nice rebound next year.

Pretty much a summary of me watching this season:

I know y’all aren’t interested in this ongoing Arkansas State game and apparently neither is the team.

He's normally pretty good against teams like Ark State, it's good SEC teams that make him look like he doesn't belong on the field.
