After 7 games in the SEC we are 0-7. Our season is now over. Amazing how we went from national champs to the worst team in the SEC. Embarrassing.

I’m having a little trouble understanding it all. I could see bottom half I guess, but dead last is a little mystifying. We certainly haven’t capitalized on our success needless to say.

Bianco was told he has unlimited job security and then said hold my beer 
He always finds a way to figure out pitching to at least be serviceable but this year it’s too late. The league is too good. Even getting Elliot back we are in too deep of a hole.

Brother, Bianco is untouchable now, for better or worse. We couldn’t fire him after 20 seasons of above average play. We sure as hell can’t touch him now.
Everyone forgot how bad we were last year before we got hot at the right time. That doesn’t happen often.

Just win one. Get the monkey off your back and I think the entire dugout relaxes and plays looser and better after that.

He absolutely gets a pass this year regardless of how much this really sucks. But there has to be some improvement next season.

And he gets somewhat of a pass bc Elliott and Maddox are injured
But that doesn’t have any effect on us being at the bottom in a lot of offensive categories in conference play . No excuse for that.

Add Mallitz to that list as well.
We lost two of our best bullpen arms in the offseason and then lost our ace after one game.

Why do all of our healthy pitchers suck arse? Jesus Christ Rivas 7 runs given up to A&M in the 4th inning. Pathetic.

It really is surprising we weren’t able to attract some better pitchers in the portal. I think we have some freshman that despite their struggles now will be good, but we should have had a good complimentary #2 to elliot in the portal and we didn’t get that and it’s killing us

You know, I’m sure I have it all wrong but I view the pitching situation, sort of like our defensive players for football who never played, like D linemen who’d been here for years, why are you here if you can’t contribute? What purpose do you serve ?
I think that about these pitchers, they’re good enough to be recruited by OM, they should be pitching, I mean hell surely someone can get outs right ? If you can’t get out there on a team that’s desperate for somewhat competent pitching, then you should transfer and leave.

The first game of conference play we might win and we won't be able to watch. Of course it was supposed to be on SECN too

Holy shite we got a win. It's a long shot but if we can win tomorrow and win the series next weekend then we won't be in that bad of shape.

Key is gonna be scoring 15 a game cause with our pitching no lead is safe.
