With our pitching it's looking like that'll be enough - at least tonight.

Well this thing got away from us in a hurry. We are making a Vandy team that might be 8th or 9th best offensively in the SEC look great.

If we can't win tonight, we have to rely on Saunier who has been absolutely awful and Rivas who has had only 1 good start to try to win the series. I really hope we aren't starting Saunier tomorrow or else it's an automatic loss.

Is this what it’s like to be the hunted?

But again, just get into the post-season. I don’t give two hoots about rankings, the SEC Tournament, where we are in the standings. None of that.

We were bad in all phases of the game tonight. If we play like this the rest of the year we will be lucky to win 8 SEC games.

This Vandy team put up 10 so far tonight. They are a bottom tier offense in the SEC.

Welp run ruled. Not sure there are any bright spots on the pitching staff.

I know right because we’ve only got like 30 games left. And if nothing else, last year taught us we better be hell on wheels all season or we are up shite creek.

I don’t understand how we didn’t have any transfer portal pitchers (outside of the Florida guy who went pro) considering pitching was a weakness last season (until the tournament)

I just hope we can find another Delucia and Elliot this year. What we are working with right now won't work in the SEC. Even if Elliot comes back healthy I still feel like we have 2 holes in the weekend rotation unless Rivas somehow keeps pitching like he did last weekend. Dougherty is a bullpen guy but we are relying on him being our Friday guy for now. Not the recipe for success in the SEC.

I think Dougherty can be a Sunday guy, but he’s not a Friday guy. We need Elliot to come back, Rivas or Dougherty to be the Sunday guy and the other in the bullpen. That leaves on big hole on Saturday and you have to hope one of the 3 main frosh step up by the middle part of the SEC season to become that guy. I think it will be Quinn but there’s a reason they felt Saunier was ready for this so hopefully that shows soon.

I just hope we can find a win tomorrow. I don't have work and will be boarding down mountains all day tomorrow. Let's hope Bianco gives another pitcher a chance.

He's a "once through the lineup" pitcher but he's hell "once through the lineup".

He usually gets shelled by the 4th inning.

We’ve scored two runs in 13 innings so far in this series. Pitching, though not great, isn’t really our issue. We’ve been outscored 16-2 at this point in time.

Right did our bats cool or have we just faced terrible pitching this season?

Yeah the Vandy starter can go CG tonight if Corbin wants him to. Probably early in the season to have a player doing that but we haven’t had a base runner since the 2nd inning.
