Coming into yesterday’s game we had the highest ERA in the conference. Got it down to 4.39 now. Team WHIP is still way too high due to all the walks issued but hopefully we can get another strong start on the mound tonight and fill the zone up.

Dougherty was very good last night.
We only had 4 walks last night. That's our lowest single game total for a game that went 9 innings.

fwiw I'm still just habitchually(get it? because I'm bitching) about this stupid as shite baseball classic.
Minnesota isn't exactly what we would call "rich recruiting territory" for baseball.
The field is fricking awful.
No benefit for fans.
Baseball players don't grow up dreaming about playing in an NFL stadium(Ok....except for Tywone Malone

Why not get a bunch of teams together and do a Classic in Puerto Rico? Probably once in a lifetime trip for a lot of players. Fans would love an excuse to go to warmer beaches in March. Actual interest from locals. Expose local talent to our team.

Is the ball carrying really well in the dome? Box score is showing he has 11 strikeouts but he’s given up 2 doubles and 2 home runs. Seems like an all or nothing stat line

Right field to center has a big curtain going up from the wall kind of like a poor man’s big green monster. There are two different marking for what constitutes a home run. One for college and one for high school.
