I think it's cool of him to be fully invested with what I'm sure are his close friends.

Still I could have already left for the gym. Just add this to the massive list of why I follow but still don't take recruiting seriously anymore

I'd like to take back my statement. It was kinda funny when you look at it. You know he's laughing his arse off at his timeline.

No fan should "take recruiting seriously". Leave that to the coaches and appropriate boosters

Walker Little was officially accepted into Stanford. Really going to be disappointing if we miss out on both him and Trey Smith after reading about how good we felt about both.

I don't think Little picks us over taking his talents to Palo Alto, unless family really is that big for him. Damn. Likewise, it's not like Trey Smith's sister wasn't already a Vol before getting that gig. I had the feeling he was always going to be a Vol lean unless we sold him otherwise. It'd be great if Tennessee drops a giant steaming turd on their contender bid this year and UGA or UF walks away with it

I think you are wrong, it's an honor to get accepted into Sanford. but I love our chances.
Tre smith is over, I want Tennessee to fail in the worst way but barring some collapse by Butch and his firing then Smith ends up there, his sister ( caregiver) has a career setup.

Smith isn't 100% gone, but it's nearly done.

Little is still making his decision, but getting accepted makes this harder for us.

We need a few more peices on offense but I'm more worried about the DT spot right now. We need at least 2 good players there. 1 that will need to develop and at least one that will be able to really contribute by 2018.

With Benito, Coatney, Donelly, and Austrian all being upperclassmen in 2018, we aren't in as bad of shape as you seem to think.

They will be great in 18 for sure but Benito could be on his way out after 18 in the draft. It will be Coatney and Donelly last year so that leaves just Austrian returning with any experience. The reason I say we need someone this year that could be a solid contributed in 18 is having experience for 19. Don't want to count on a Benito level player in 18 class that can play as a true freshmen. Get someone in 17 redshirt play some in 18 season be a stud in 19. Maybe looking ahead to much but hey just a thought.

I'm worried about who we may end up taking at OT in this class if we do miss out on Little and Smith.

I trust our coaches when it comes to evaluating offensive linemen ... Look at a Plan B guy like Fahn and how good he turned out to be... Probably our team MVP in the trenches last season.

Other than Baker (Bama commit) and Agasiva (from Hawaii so probably ends up playing in the PAC 12) there just isn't a lot of great JUCO tackles out there... I'm sure D'Marcus Hayes would be ours if we offered but I'd only want to do that to piss off Brett and Arkansas.
