I wish people weren't such lazy thinkers. Do you think Willie would volunteering put himself through the shite he is about to go through by committing to OM and living in Starkville to troll OM in the very end? Do you honestly think he isn't going to hate state even more so by the time NSD comes with all the crap he's going to hear from them? Have you seen CJ Johnson or AJ Brown's Twitter before?

I'm just happy to see us getting commits. Hopefully a 5-star commits soon to really put us on the recruiting map. and hopefully this is a good sign regarding NOA etc.

I'm hearing he called MSU and told them he was committing to them this morning and reaffirmed this afternoon. Only to screw the ish out them.

I'll hold off on this one.

Oh no I'm glad he committed to us so their fan base can push him even closer to us... But there's no way you can allow yourself to be any more than Cautiously Optimistic about his commitment to us

Why would he announce at 5:00 pm on a Friday? Because he wanted as little local pushback as possible.

Same reason "bad" news is always released at 5 on a Friday. Less pushback
