AJ Brown played good last night (decent game but wasn't near as the game vs MC earlier in the season).

However, I would gladly pass on AJ to get W.Gay next year. He is perfect for our defense and crazy fast. He actually covered, stride for stride, in the hip pocket MC's best WR in man 2 man on coverage....and this WR is a fast MSU Baseball commit. So LB size with DB speed and a nasty streak.

I'll take both. Wonder how tonight's game impacted any recruits? I think such a dominate performance had to make an impression.

Do recruits go to state games? Do we recruit against ate anymore? How has the beat down effected anybody who would be crazy enough to be "deciding" between ole miss and state?

There's a ton of local pressure to go there.. Even with him being at IMG.

If he was hoping for some type of excuse to lessen the pressure and flip this is it.

Seriously. I like Cooley more than Nauta. I would love to have both. But we need to hang on to Cooley.

We will start letting some kids go soon and it'll freak some people out but I think this class will be superior to 2013

Cooley might not be the better all-around TE, but I'm definitely a believer that he's a better fit for OM's offense. Dude is a monster receiver.

I hope Cooley isn't one of those guys we let go. I'd get rid of Angel and D. Mitchell first.

Ive seen gabe Angel at just about every game and he wants to be a rebel, we do not need to let that kid go. I don't care if we can get a higher ranked tight end. Engram wasn't highly ranked and we've been pretty happy with him. I don't want us to start being like butch where we run off players who have been committed to us and screw them over at the last second.

Um, I don't think you have to worry about that.
