1) Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. (Johnny Depp)
Tim Burton made a lovable children's musical into a dark, strange film that bombed.
2) Psyco (Vince Vaugh)
He needs to stick to comedy. The directors ruined a Hitchcock classic and made it into a weird, semi frightening bust
3) Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Man they keep trying to make this movie comeback. The original was excellent. Then the one with Mark Wahlburg came out and just
4) The Karate kid (Jayden Smith)
I am not going to comment on this movie
5) The Pink Panther (Steve Martin)
Now do not get me wrong, I love Steve Martin. I love the jerk. I love dirty rotten scoundrels. But he could not recreate this peter sellers classic. Sellers made it funny by using subtle comedy, while Steve Martin's is just in your face dirty.

You might be alone in this one. The Wahlberg one was horrible though. Tim Burton should retire. His last good film was Big Fish, and I haven't seen it in awhile so I don't know if it has aged well.

I loved it, actually. It was far more in-line with the book and it actually has some artistic value. Some really funny moments in there if you pay attention.

3) Rise of the Planet of the Apes
The first one was quite deep and allegorical.
Like most remakes, meaning is removed and replaced with more emphasis on aesthetics.

i got tired of thinking of them. Ocean's 11 is the only one I look that favorably on.

Basically 90% of all remakes could potentially make this list.
Hell they are all bad one way or another.
