You have a depressing life and alcohol makes you think about how depressing it is?

Alcohol makes me very happy.

But then again I drink it like 3 times a month when I'm happy. I don't use it to make me happy.

However I've learned in my 30s that a cigar and alcohol don't mix any more. That makes me sad.

Smoke some weed, eat some Cheetos, and watch a funny movie.

What are you drinking with your cigar? I disagree wholeheartedly with that. Haha

Well Thursday night it was a XX, sprite and Woodbridge reserve, followed by glenlivet and throwing up. It wasn't the alcohol. I do more than that on a regular night.

u might as well quit drinking now. it just gets worse as you get older

alcohol dehydrates the hell out of me and depresses me. i quit drinking completely years ago

also, you might be developing an allergy to it - which would make u feel horrible after drinking

Alcohol mellows me out and makes me feel deeply happy and satisfied.

Of course, I limit my intake strictly to Bourbon and Rum (and the occasional bottle of wine).

Maybe that's the ticket. Either way, though, whether it makes you depressed or happy - moderation in all things.

I'd just stop drinking, or cut back dramatically if this is happening to you. Pick up a new hobby, workout more, read more books, etc.

I enjoy drinking but it'll never satisfy you like good friends or a productive new skill. Honestly, you won't regret it, Gcock

Alcohol eases the intensity out of me, which is a good thing. I become a lot more affectionate and easy going, but I rarely drink enough for it to do more than that.
