People, you included, should do this country a favor and stop painting the political landscape as liberal or conservative, republican or democrat, etc.. some folks just come from a completely different background, and have a different outlook on things because of how life has shaped them. Not all liberals are one way, not all conservatives are one way. It's a little more fluid than that.

I don't classify myself as a liberal, but I'll play. I'm no Trump fan because I think he's a buffoon and would be bad for the country. Foreign policy under him would be laughable, and I hate to think about "the button" being at the fingertips of someone that impulsive and arrogant. And while he did not start the divisive, hateful tone of today's political arena, he's done nothing to change it, and some of his language makes it worse. I think he feeds the anger deliberately to excite his supporters, and this could have some very bad consequences.
And while I dislike Hillary as well, I'm not sure I agree that he can beat her. The only thing that might beat her is an indictment.
Our choices at this point are pitiful.

I agree that all people of all political thought need to be open to the opinions of others, but it seems to me that conservatives do make an effort to work together more than the liberals.
Look at who speaks for them, Pelosi, Reed, Wasserman.

This is in great part because most conservatives place great value in order and following the rules.
You don't see many conservatives going to a candidate's campaign event with the intention of disrupting it because we've been taught and we believe that type of behavior is wrong.
