Terrifying family secrets have plagued Hughie Decker for as long as he can remember. Now, just as his life and career have finally begun to make strides, a seemingly innocent story from his hometown newspaper leaves Decker with no choice. He must return to his boyhood home to confront the horrid truth that destroyed so many lives.

They’re basic bitch classic pop. I listened to them as a kid though I wasnt a kid when they were making good music obviously. I think that’s how most people are. The only people that are wild about the Beatles in to their Adulthood are the type of people that view the world through Harry Potter analogies.

You can't challenge the #1 seeds' status, bro. Those are easily two of the greatest bands of all time.

Beatles will always get more credit than they deserve because they were in the right place at the right time and appealed to the masses (who may not have great musical taste)

They did have some good albums (Sgt Pepper) and some good songs (Back in the USSR) but they also had a lot of stuff aimed at cray cray young women.

In term of rock, the 70's may have been the real heyday with folks like BTO, Foghat, Edgar Winter, and that did not splinter to a specific group like Metallica did when they came on the scene. Kiss was a decent band but back in the 70's their legion of fans were as attracted by the show (lights / costumes / explosions) as the actual music.

Just realized you put Beatles as number one. Ok I guess, I don’t see them as rock but at the time maybe they were. They’re pop IMO.

They took American blues and made it palpable for white audiences in the US because they were Brits and US is still filled with toffee nosed folks for anything English.

Exactly!

Also, even after 200 years of separation wealthy American industrial families still try to marry their kids to English nobility even tho the titles have been broke for generations.

Toffee is not toffee nosed

Toffee is a candy

Toffee nosed = brown nose = your nose is so far up someone else arse it is brown or toffee colored.

even with all my anglo pride shtick I don't care about royal weddings and I find the coverage overblown. Never have understood people that get hyped for it

I know it was probably unintended but that is funny if you read what toffee nosed means
