Can't stand a bandwagon fan. That being said, if there's no team around, how do you choose?

I really expected a lot more Cubs fans, almost everyone I've ever met from the south/upper midwest/shitholes without teams always wind up liking the Cubs and Braves because of WGN and TBS.

My grandfather actually got drafted by the Indians out of High School, but my great grandfather would not let him go because WWII was just breaking out (he was drafted by USA ) . Once my dad told me this story, I became an Indians fan and stayed one ever since. I looked at it like it was the closest I would ever get to Major League Baseball, so I rolled with it.
