Golden Corral, Shoneys or Applebee's
Logan's, ruby Tuesdays, Chilis and Texas Roadhouse are legit. All have some good food for the price.
Others are just meh but not really trashy

Barnyard's er Barnhills Buffet.
A club we belonged to had meetings there. Pretty much every other meeting I'd get serious gastric pain five hours after eating there. I would try different food the next time, it wasn't just one thing that was distressing.

This entire website has a weird fascination with what is trashy. You see it more on the other OT board but it is just as disturbing reading it here. Why the need to look down on others less fortunate than you or feel like you have a right to judge them in the first place? Most all you guys have ate at these restaurants right beside the people you think you are better than. Damn.

Never been to a Golden Corral but it has to be the worst. Texas Roadhouse really isn't that terrible. I'll never understand people who treat it as fine dining, but I'll order takeout from there some nights if I don't want to cook.

Me neither. I dislike buffets altogether. It disgusts me to see another human with five pounds of food piled on one plate and to see them return three more times for more. I just can't do it.
