I wish twitter worked on my mobile devices. I must have done something bad and gotten banned somehow because it just spins and spins and then tells me I’m rate limited. I refresh and it says that I have been restricted from that action or something like that. It’s a conspiracy IMO.

Popular genetic testing companies 23andMe and Ancestry.com are holding on to more than information about your family tree, which raises privacy concerns. Experts confirm DNA in these databases can be accessed by law enforcement and third party companies under certain circumstances, revealing intimate information about user’s medical history and biological relationships.

Meh whatever.
What do they not know anyways?
And good for them, now I’ll have more of a reason to say I dislike a family member

I feel like 23 and me cops out a lot with the Broadly southern european and such.
They gave me.
54.6% British & Irish
23.5% French and German
5.3% Scandinavian
12.2 % Broadly Northwestern Europe.
That puts me at 95.6 %. The rest is scattered around Europe with .1% unassigned and .1% Native American. My family has no stories of having Native American.
I knew my Dad's side was mostly English and Irish with my Mom's side mostly German and Irish. The 5.3% Scandinavian is probably the Vikings raping my European ancestors.
Both sides had the majority of grandparents from the 1600-1750 in America. My dad found one story of a Hessian that Washington captured he promised him land in western PA to fight for the Americans which he accepted. Gotta love mercenaries. The first person that has my last name came to New Jersey in 1730 and quickly moved to western PA.

I think the mercenary thing for the Hessians is a bit tricky. I guess it’s technically true, they were foreigners being paid to fight in a war in which they had no direct interest, but the Landgraves of Hesse had deep familial ties to the House of Hannover/King George, one was his brother-in-law and one was his nephew. “Hessian” itself just became a label for Germans fighting for George, many of whom were actually his subjects as he was a German noble and landholder. They weren’t British subjects but I don’t think you can call them mercenaries.
The situation would kind of be similar to the Koreans that have served in Afghanistan, are they mercenaries? Sort of I guess. Not really, but if you want them to be you can come up with a justification for it.

They weren't direct mercenaries but Great Britain paid Landgraf Friedrich II for use of part of their military. It's an indirect mercenary. For the individual you are being paid to be in a strange land and fight people that aren't at war with your home country. To me that equals a mercenary.

Yea there's definitely an argument for it.

Today, Israel and Britain call it "NATO", and Americans are the mercenaries

I think they're also looking for something in the gene pool. I think they're looking for angelic DNA.
They're looking for rhesus negative blood types. Apparently people of Celtic lingeage with negative blood types have a predisposition for paranormal experiences and also psychic experiences.
I was pretty amazed when I came across that info because I can personally verify.

Honestly, idk. Black is what shows up, but there's a lot of shite swimming around in the gene pool. Want to eventually do a genealogy thing for my wife and I so we can tell our son accurately where he comes from.
