He's a dumb athlete, not a tenured professor of astronomy . This non-trad "General Studies" BA graduate doesn't reflect on LSU any more than window-licking Vince Young's "Community Studies" degree reflects on UT Austin

frick your shitty thread is what I'm getting at

Of what? Some none STEM horse shite? Ugh. Colleges across the nation need a purging of this liberal arts/humanities garbage. Contributes nothing to society and adds hundreds of thousands of unhireable dumb fricks who can't get work in their shitty obscure field. US Academia is predatory and cancerous. We need reform.

Kyrie Irving went to Duke, and he subscribes to the flat earth craziness.

Irving was also born in Australia - do flat earthers still call it "down under"?

He didn't flunk out, he went pro. They would've given him anything to stay four years and graduate.

You have to be a tenured professor of astronomy to know the Earth is not flat?

The simple response to a flat earther is to ask him to point to the Birj Khalifa, the tallest man made structure on earth, or to Mt. Everest which is more than 29,000 feet tall. If the earth is indeed flat then they should be easily visible, especially with binoculars or a telescope.

Honestly who here has been to out of space?
Especially when you have scientists suggesting we are living in a computer simulation, some suggests we are the experiments of intelligent alien beings and others suggests well just resesrch the hollow earth theory.

From the article:

quote:

O'Neal attended LSU for three years, before joining the NBA. In 2000, he went back to school to complete his Bachelor's Degree.

He also completed an online MBA in 2005 through the University of Phoenix.

In 2012, he graduated from Florida's Barry University with a doctorate degree in education focusing on organizational learning and leadership.

It is interesting how the vast majority of people on earth are told the earth is round and believe it without any way of knowing if it is true or not. The curvature of the earth should be evidence for someone like shaq who has done plenty of flying I assume.

I kind of feel like we are all being trolled though.
