My wife and I have separate bank accounts. I have a habit of putting extra money in her account since I make twice as much as she does. We just started doing this last year. I honestly started doing this for "legal reasons".

We became one in marriage. We share everything 100%. All accounts are joint. Transparent. We use Lastpass for our passwords. Nothing hidden.
To each his/her own though.

Same bank, different bank accounts, but they're linked for ease of transfer more than anything.

Same here. Over 25 years of happy marriage. (Never heard of lastpass though)

My wife and I have joint accounts. We have a Money Market account for savings, and two checking accounts. One is for bills, and the other is for “spending money” for trips, nights out to dinner, football games, etc. We do have separate credit cards, but only use it for birthday/Christmas gifts and stuff we may buy for each other. We have been married for two years, and it has worked for us. We closed our own personal accounts, and pooled all of our money together a few weeks after we got married. My wife is quite possibly the most frugal person ever, so we don’t ever argue over money or anything. We basically made a rule that we would spend out of the joint accounts as we wish, and we would only consult with the other if the purchase was over $100.

The wife and I have separate accounts but we are also on each other's account just in case something bad was to happen to the other. It's pretty simple because we split the bill up. She pays the car insurance, house insurance, power, and water. I pay health insurance, internet/cable, life insurance, and contribute heavily to the 401k. I give her money for the mortgage payment.
If it works for you, that's great, but this honestly doesn't sound like a marriage to me.

Three joint checking accounts. One for bills and family purchases, one each for our personal spending money (if we go out to eat, movie, etc unless it’s a special occasion like a birthday we pay from one of these, usually alternate who pays. Also these are for doing things with friends.) Each have a debit card on the family account and our “personal” account plus she has an Amex for company travel for work. Also we manage finances for one adult child. We use LastPass to manage passwords

We have a shared account, it’s just easier. I have a few “personal” credit cards but that is just because i travel for work pften.

With that said, I've been married almost 2 years now and my wife and I don't even have a single shared account. I still have my separate checking/savings accounts and she has the same of all of hers. We didn't do this for any solid reason, we just didn't feel the need to combine. I still buy all my own shite and she buys her own too. We mostly split the bills of running a household (I pay them all and she gives me roughly half at the beginning of the month). When we go out to eat it's probably evenly split on who buys. It's honestly worked out well and we have no complaints.
Same.

Married 19 years, all of our accounts are joint accounts but my checks go into one and hers go into a different one. It's just easier to keep track of balances if two people are actively using the same account. We both have Debit cards to each others accounts and complete access.
Generally we buy what we want, when we want to. This just makes it much easier for us.
