And MMA or whatever any “sport” that would have two men beating the shite out of each other...

How is this acceptable in today’s society?

How can espn celebrate and promote this activity?

In football, players are thrown out of games for head to head contact.

Yes, I know this is the wrong board, but I trust the opinions on this board.

The only question that matters:

Does it make more money that what they'd replace it with?

Yes ---> It's great. Keep it.

No ---> It's awful. End it.

ETA:
But yeah, wrong board.

I’m not triggered

I’ve never been a real fan of boxing.

But I have enjoyed watching it....going back to Ali and Frazier

But....it seems to be a “sport” that should no longer be acceptable in today’s society

Why should it not be acceptable? Both parties agree to the rules of the fight. No one is forcing them to become a boxer or cage fighter.

It’s still two men beating the shite out of each other...

It’s been expanded to women also

To me it is barbaric...I don’t understand how liberal tv promotes this activity

Didn’t mean to get ugly...

I appreciate your posts.

It just seems to me that there is some hypocrisy in sports today.

It makes more money than the SJW complaining they cater to.

Why do we have to eliminate activities just because they're dangerous or injurious?

Who fights anymore....

... and the ratings would be higher for dueling.
