Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Texas are all great. Mississippi needs to remove the Confederate portion. The rest all violate the basic rules of flag making and are bad.

Exactly. If you have to put your name on the flag, it has already failed. Same with California. Great flag with unnecessary wording.

All of em are silly...I don't get the infatuation folks have with flags....literally dying over them...it is the damndest thing ever....fight over property, ideas, freedom yes, but a flag???

I like the flags that are just honest about how stupid their populace is so they put the name of the state front and center in all caps. It’s like I can expect everyone from those states to wear big OL name tags everyday with their phone numbers and home address on them in case they get lost

I don’t know about the flag but the arch on the seal of the state of Georgia (which is on the flag) is literally the main logo and landmark of the University

I don’t mind having the name of the state on there as long as it works and you’re not forcing it. Like I feel like it works on Arkansas.
Most of these states are just trying to do too much on their flag. Just keep it simple.
