If you're ranking the cities, then Athens is definitely liberal. It has a big art and music scene, and most of the people who stick around after graduation are those types. As far the student body goes, your agricultural majors help to balance out the arts/liberal arts majors and make the student body a good bit more conservative. Around 90% of UGA students are still from the state of Georgia, which, outside of Atlanta, is still solid red.
Athens also started Onward reserve which is single handedly keeping Ronald Reagan merchandise a big seller in 2018. Tons of liberalism in the city but just as much conservatism. Just depends on where you look

I didn’t know that. I bought a RR shirt from their store in Georgetown a couple of years ago.
I doubt that anyone who works there has been to Onward, MS-but it’s nice to know someone named a high dollar store after the place.

Yep. Founder and CEO is a Terry College grad from UGA, named the company based on Teddy Roosevelt's Onward, MS story.
Most of their stuff is crazy expensive but over the years I've bought a few shirts and a pair of shoes from them. It's the ultimate frat store which isn't really my thing but they do have pretty nice dress shirts and collegiate wear

I wish they’d make a shirt featuring the Onward Store. It used to be just that-a general country store-when I used to hunt there. It was purchased in the early 2000’s I think and turned into a more touristy place.
I still remember a bowl of boiled eggs that was at the cash register with a sign that read: “Whole Chicken Dinner $0.50”

All of the smart areas of the south are liberal.
Why is this narrative repeated so much by liberals?
I'd argue the inner cities are among the most uneducated areas in the South and predominantly liberal.
It's all about the surrounding school systems and parental upbringing.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Look at how Alabama voted in the presidential election. Only blue areas in the state are full of poor arse dumb fricks!!

Fayetteville is liberal but because its surrounded by conservative towns it all sort of balances out to a Goldilocks effect. Not too liberal, not too conservative, but just right.

What if it's a nice bottle of Gabbiano Chanti?

Fayetteville is extremely liberal. It sort of balances out with the rest of the area being somewhere to the right of Genghis Khan. A lot of college towns in the South are way more liberal then anywhere around them.

Tennessee has it's share of sjw activity going on.

Bottle with cork = High Class
Bottle with resealable cap = Middle Class
Bottle with "Thunderbird" or "Night Train" = Economically Challenged Class
Box of wine = Low Class (or chicks sharing a house) is consumed orally
Box of wine - NCAA (No Class At All) is consumed anally

Most of that is forced by the UT Admin with their all inclusive, pronoun neutral bull shite. Outside of some rampid arse chugging done on frat row, Knoxville/Campus/The Student body is by and large very conservative.
***Grits, why are you still switching between your kywildcatfanone account and your Grits account? shite is weird my dude & don't say that's not you. The gig was up when you forgot to log out of one of the accounts on the UF board last year.

We are both old and share that in common, but unless I have gone all "Fight Club" I am pretty sure we are 2 different old dudes. Politically I think he is a Trumper and I think we need a 3rd party to kick the other two in the arse.

Do tell?
I usually hit the gator Board for the annual VB post and some occasional posts with the other old dudes on that board. Please tell me more about the incident you are referring to?
