Yeah, it's a bad look and Gundy is dumb for doing this.

I'm more offended by his mullet.

Snowflake alert

I’m not the one offended by a kid transferring from a school not even in our conference.
You are borderline crying about it.
But, sure, I can be the snowflake if it makes you feel better.

Even if accurate, who cares how conservative it is? Why should it matter?

Because the more you identify as "liberal" or "conservative" you move further and further away from the spectrum of "news". Eventually you're a conspiracy site, not "news".

I didn’t know what OAN was until this thread, but it’s not like mainstream media is a bastion of intelligent discourse these days.

Or message boards, apparently.

No one has explicitly said that, but all the crybabies in this thread seem like they wish that he didn’t.

And when Gundy gets fired over it, what's next? You gonna support the players call for burning books they don't like? Because that's where this is headed.

sooner or later it’s going to happen and I’m pretty sure some SEC school is gonna look at Hubbard...and I’ll say the same thing that I’m saying about him as I am this kid your response clarifies all I need to say

You didn't answer my question. The question wasn't about debating how far right the channel is but rather why does it even matter how far right the channel is as it pertains to Gundy wearing a t-shirt? So maybe he watches an unreliable station for news. Why should that matter? My grandfather sends me some pretty off the wall chain e-mails too. I roll my eyes and move on.

So if he was wearing a CNN shirt you would still feel the same way.

If Hubbard doesn't want to play for Gundy, he doesn't have to. I think a lot of people don't think this particular item is worth the fuss it's getting, and I would have to say I would agree with that.

I do think we are on a very slippery slope right now with virtue signaling and the cancel culture being what it is and I don't love that trend. But I don't really know what you do to stop it at this point, more of these kind of things are going to keep happening and people are going to keep getting offended by things that others view as harmless.

wish he didn't what? have the right to transfer? No, I don't think anyone has implied that either. They may think he's being childish for threatening to transfer over this. And they have the freedom to opine on things like that just like he has the right to transfer if he so chooses.

Hasn’t happened. The kid just wants to transfer because he doesn’t like his coach, and you’re crying about it because I guess that’s the libertarian thing to do?

You nut the frick up and tell the cultural fascists to stick it. Does anyone honestly think Chuba Hubbard had any clue what OAN was until he was told by someone he needed to be outraged? We're seriously headed to living in Cocteau's dystopia in Demolition Man.

Slippery slopes in either direction are dangerous, but most people only seem to complain about the ones leaning left.
