We had massive power fluctuations from around 5-10 miles away during the second twister for over 5 minutes. We could only assume it was substations and transformers being hit. Tomorrow I think we’ll see 20+ fatalities and an EF3-4 classification for each one.
from experience, expect to hear wild and embellished rumors of large numbers of fatalities. Sure, the number is already high and one is too many, but you'll hear crazy numbers like "300 dead" or "everyone in an apartment complex of 200 people died" or "There are 20 bodies found in area lakes",, etc.
Let's just hope and pray for those so terribly affected by this storm can carry on.
So many helped out Tuscaloosa and Birmingham in 2011, including Auburn athletes, it's time to repay the favor.

I’m active right now. Those are “Weather Channel” numbers. I have to sign off for the evening. God be with everyone dealing with this tonight.

That man was just a frickbag that was more interested in getting his YouTube footage and "fame" as a storm chaser than he was about some low class types.

This is such a shame. Condolences to anyone affected by the storms.

Saving what proof, jackass? The proof is in the video that was posted. The storm chaser came upon a scene of destruction, the tornado had passed, and instead of helping possible victims, he chose to go get more footage for YouTube instead of helping what he probably thought were low-class people because they lived in trailers. That is how people like that think.
That is what you are reporting? What is wrong with you? You think human life is meaningless? I should report you for having no heart and being a malicious retard.

Dear God, prayers to Lee County. My wife and 2 girls left Auburn this morning headed south from a swim meet at Auburn. They were less than an hour ahead of the storm. I am a thankful man tonight and sad for those affected.

FWIW, I read that as him speaking from the driver/filmer's perspective in why he didn't stop - not that he was calling them that himself. Specifically, I read it as him shitting on the driver for having that mindset of "my film is more important than these poor people."

frick off, attention whore. I clearly meant that this little count storm chaser probably felt that way and was most likely the reason he felt no need to help innocents in need of assistance.
There had to be some reason other than just "YouTube", wouldn't you think?

This, I believe, should easily be the deadliest tornado event in Alabama since the April 27, 2011 Super Outbreak (252 killed in Alabama that day).

That is EXACTLY what it was and MrAUTigers is trolling a tornado thread. This is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen on any board.

Move your little bitchfest to another thread.

To the great people of Alabama and surrounding areas: Please be careful and safe. Tornadoes and storms were truly violent and more could be coming. To the families and friends of the victims, and to the injured, God bless you all!

Just got back from a trip with a co-worker today and he lands at the airport and finds out three family members died. Absolutely horrible.
