I was playing a pickup game of football back in 06. I had already rolled my ankle that day so everything was loose in there. Went out on a 10 yd comeback route, planted and all hell broke loose. I literally felt my fibula pass through all the tendons/muscle and hit the ground as my foot curled up. Didn't break the skin thank the Lord. Still want to throw up thinking about it. I got used as a chair by all the girls till the game was over. Didn't run for 5 months.

Got hit in the head with a pickaxe when I was 9. Doc said a mm in any change of direction I would have died. Literally hit me the only way I could live through it. I didn't really feel anything, it knocked me out quite quickly.

I've been on crutches 14 times or more(lost count). Broken nose 8 or 9 times. Along with a myriad of many other injuries in my time. Currently recovering from shoulder surgery.

This for me as well except it went the opposite direction. I would imagine yours hurt worse but the pain I was in was just horrible...

Happened during just a routine basketball play too. Hate that popping sound when you know something isn't right, followed by a very dull pain.

Solid thread. I'd say tearing my patella tendon, dislocating my knee and breaking my tibia all in one move. I was on crutches for 4 months. Had physical therapy for another 6. Sucked. ...

I posted this in the OT version of this thread awhile back

I had a hemorrhoid cut out a few summers ago. The medicine makes you poop about 2-3 times a day and it feels like you're sharting glass for almost a month. Had to sit in a warm bath for 30 minutes after each time. Needless to say our water bill almost doubled

Very bad sprained ankle once and was on crutches for a couple of weeks.

Caught the top of my index finger in the band saw. Cut hit the bone from about .25 -.5 inch above the 1st knuckle all the way to the end of my finger and through the finger nail and a little bit of the middle finger and through it's finger nail as well. Hurt like hell.

The worse though was my vasectomy experience.

I the numbing didn't work and I felt everything. I mean everything. It hurt so bad I couldn't talk and think I passed out for a little bit.

Broke my hand 4 times growing up.
Top of my middle finger , middle finger metacarpus, ring finger metacarpus, and pinky finger metacarpus. Metal plates over my middle finger metacarpus and pinky finger meta. and then two pins in the side of my hand that ran through my pinky and ring finger bone... Which they pulled out with Vice Grips and no medication to numb it ... The last time the middle finger and ring finger bones made a A Frame shape sticking out of my hand

when i was about 6 my dad's table saw kept running after he would use it. one time i reached out to stop it.

i only lost about half the bone on that finger and was able to reattach it.

i don't remember the pain, but losing a finger has to be towards the top.

mine was fairly painless but i love me some hydrocodine. i could feel the swelling and could tell i should be hurting, but never really hurt much.

Once I got the hydrocodone I was good to go, but I didn't get it until I left.

I hit a tree skiing. That knee still bothers me.

Or the time I jumped from about 3 stories up trying to sneak into a hotel in Cancun. Had the foot set by a Mexican doctor. Never healed right.

I burnt my hand on the lawn mower muffler when I was 12. I broke my pinky toe on the corner of my bed a few years ago. The most pain I can remember is when I smashed my thumb with a hammer so hard I got hot, tunnel vision, and sick to my stomach.

I broke my right femur in 18 places when I was 18 in a car accident. That wasn't the painful part... when they got me to the emergency room, they had to put me in traction. They couldn't give me anything for pain because they were not sure if I had head injuries. To put me in traction, they held me down and drilled through the bone just below my knee. My parents learned the full extent of my vocabulary just before I passed out.

Little league running in for a fly ball. Shortstop running out for the same ball. collision with his knee impacting my thigh at full speed. Pain like I never before or since felt, exploded throughout and I cried like a bitch...check that I screamed and cried like a bitch. I couldn't walk for days and any slight muscle movement caused extreme pain.
