Only Mantle autograph I have is one I bought from a card shop, I regret not getting on as I once had a chance but he had 40+ people around him at a spring training game.

Shook hands with Johnny Cash, visited with Justin Moore for a few minutes...
Oh, and very famous in a certain world, had dinner and visited with the late William D. Revelli.

I've met Coach Richt. Had a 10 second convo that went along the lines off...
Him: Son, you're big and tall, do you play football?
Me: No Sir
Him: That's a shame
He proceeded to go on with his day and left me. After that moment I decided to play football. I just wish I could thank the man for unintentionally helping me have one of the best senior years

Not too many famous people pass through South Central Kentucky.
*In regards to Colonel Sanders. My family is from Corbin, KY where Sanders Cafe is. My Great Grandfather/ Grandfather knew him. Always thought it was interesting because his face is everywhere even though he was a small town man.

quote:
Ali.
To me Ali and Elvis are probably the most famous.
Presidents come and go. Entertainers or athletes rarely reach seven continent, world status. Ali and Elvis are two.

I thought of another one.
A partner of our company sells internet security. He's a millionaire and was quoted in Newsweek this last week about the heartbleed stuff.
