re: Consider a Pyrenees dog

I've had my Pyr about a year. He's huge, but very docile with family, kids, even the outside cat. He works the night shift around my house, patrols the treeline looking for coyotes all night long, sleeps all day. Anytime a coyote makes a peep he runs WFO into the woods to run it off. Every time I go...

Grab a used Squier or Epiphone off FB marketplace. You should be able to find a decent guitar for less than $200. The key is having it professionally set up. I gigged with an $85 Squier Strat for a couple years, sold it to a bandmate, he's still using it. Setup is 100% the key to a playable instrume...

re: Cullman Alabama BBQ. Any good places there?

It is celery seed in the sauce right? I've had it a couple of times and remember it being very pronounced.
No idea, I just get the regular red sauce, seems fine to me :dunno: ...

Big Bob Gibson's....as a friend once called it, "The Mecca of Mediocrity".
Johnny's is good, but I'm local and kinda grew up on it....
Hellacious great guitars. I saw one that I really want a couple of Months ago at Art's music in Montgomery.
Guy I play with has an American Elite Telecaster, the pickups in that one just sound kinda dead to me, compared to the jumbo MFDs in the G&L....

My wife REALLY dislikes blues. When Stapleton emerged she couldn't quit talking about how great he is....

Differences have been blurred over the years, for sure. Play 5 different guitars made in the same factory, you'll notice differences in each. Best Strat I ever had was a 80s Japanese made Squier. My current workhorse is a G&L Tribute Series ASAT Special, made in Indonesia. I've A-B'd it against gui...

We get up that way pretty regular. Busted Oak Bourbon Society has a good vibe.
Was there last week and the Duramax spit an o-ring out of the fuel filter head, had to walk a mile thru Tijuana to grab a rebuild kit from Autozone.
Other than that...my Spanish is terrible....

Thanks, y'all. I believe we're gonna take the boat from Orange Beach down to Cape San Blas next weekend to get a feel for it. Probably follow the coast going down, then cut straight across coming back, depending on weather....

Chicken Picks, if you've never seen them. I use the "shoulder" of the Standard 2.6mm. no idea what the material is, but it's hard as a rock, lasts forever, and doesn't move around between my fingers like every other pick I've tried does.
