Yeah I never return any advances at a Chick-Fil-A. I've been flirted with a few times.

I know this might upset you but business owners could have done this before without a bill. It's a private business. They reserve the right to serve who they want. This bill changed nothing.
I disagree with the discrimination of gays, but come on guys don't be idiots.

I never said that I wasn't a bigot to some extent, but I'm a bigot toward people who can help how they are. I'm not bigoted toward people who were born a certain way.
I'm a Christian who believes that the Bible condemns homosexuality as sinful, therefore I don't think it is acceptable or praise-worthy for people to have homosexual intercourse.
I didn't "choose" to be a Christian, though. I simply "can't help" my faith in Christ and the Bible. There isn't a switch that I can just turn off that makes me not believe it. It is rooted deep in my being and I can't just change my beliefs on a whim. Conviction of faith is not fickle with me.
Therefore, to call me or others like me a "bigot" for my beliefs is to be contradicting your standard of bigotry, since I honestly can't help it. And, if you're going to be inconsistent with your application of who is and is not a bigot, then the usage of the term (from you and others who follow the same reasoning as you) is meaningless.

Are you ok with the gay hairdresser that dropped a client who was a senator who voted for the Arizona bill?

You chose to be. Just as I chose to not be, even though from the time I was born until I was a teenager I attended church every Sunday and every Wednesday and was even baptized.
People don't choose to be a certain race, gender, or sexuality. Those are things that cannot be changed.

According to your Bible, all sins are equal. If, indeed, homosexuality is a sin, it is no worse sin than drunkenness, premarital sex, and coveting your neighbors ox or arse.
I've never seen Christians try to keep those who live with partners that they aren't married to or are seen at the local bar every night out of their establishments though.

I talked to one of my senator friends who said that the republicans hid this whole gay thing inside another bill to change the state seal.
He lied to you. Every one of them knew exactly what they were voting for. It was only a three page bill.

This is correct.

I would only call you a bigot if you actively discriminate or support the government to actively discriminate.
It's not like Catfan is wanting to pass legislation to make fundamentalist Christians to ride the back of the bus. If she was, then sure she's a bigot against Christians.

Lmao are the dems in our senate really arguing that they didn't know that language was in the bill? So basically, they're just incompetent rather than spiteful.

Wasn't there this thing where legislators didn't know what was in the ACA until they passed it? It's pretty common practice, sadly.
