Dated for 6 years, engaged for just over a year (about 16 months), we have been married for 1 1/2 years now. First and (hopefully) only marriage for both of us.

Dated about 6 months before we got engaged. We got married two months after we got engaged, so 8 months total courtship.
You may find this unbelievable, but we did not sleep with each other until our wedding night, either.

Don't really remember how long we dated before we were engaged, so dating to marriage was a little over a year. Maybe a year and a half. Met on a blind date, but did talk to each other over the phone for about a month prior to meeting. Pretty much knew I was going to marry her before we even met. Lucky for me, she was hot.

1st marriage we dated for 6 months, were engaged for 6 months and married for 5 years. She was a succubus and a succubus will make you a miserable bastard. For instance; if you have cable and your cable goes out you get lonely, when you get lonely, you go to a bar, when you go to a bar you get drunk, when you get drunk you find a succubus. When you find a succubus they take you for all you're worth and screw everything within range. Don't buy cable and marry a succubus.

Bought a puppy for her (that I kept) after her long-time dog died.
Engaged for seven months
Have been married for 25 years.
First child five years after wedding
Second child 2.5 years later
Dog died when youngest was 3, got another a year later & another a year after that. Everyone/everything is relatively healthy.
I told all my friends in HS & college that I wouldn't marry until close to 30. Ended up marrying her before our Senior year of college. Just realized we've been married over half our lives.
