Probably one of the most controversial conspiracy theories of all time and still resonates today. This November will mark fifty-five years since that fateful morning in Dallas.

We all have our own individual theories of what we think actually happened that day. Some of us will agree on just one shooter(that being Oswald) and yet some of us, believe in the grassy knoll shooter. Hince what makes conspiracy theories so fun.....we get to drawn up our own conclusions. So...that being said...what do you all say? Just one shooter? Or was Oswald just the patsy he was destined to be?

No proof of another shooter, Oswald was the lone shooter.

I've read every theory and the one thing that sticks in my mind that dispels or at least puts the lone gunman theory in question is the headshot; back and to the left which seems impossible if he's shot from behind. Yeah I've read where it's theoretically possible but IMO seems unlikely.

The "pristine bullet" allows much of the speculation.

Goes through 2 bodies with enough trajectory change to suggest hitting something hard yet no deformation when found. Seems a bit improbable.

My dad got shot point blank in the chest with a .40 in January in an attempted robbery. The bullet was a full metal jacket and struck a rib just under his heart, traveled around his rib cage and out his side-cleanly, went through a window and lodged in a deck rail.

It looked unfired after it was dug from the deck rail.

So it happens with FMJ bullets.

As to the OP, I believe Oswald was the lone gunman, but I also believe he was encouraged by nefarious elements.

It’s like it never happened. He was out of the ER in a couple of hours. The bullet didn’t even break the rib. It was fully healed in 6 weeks.

The guy is a walking miracle.

I lean towards this, but I also have a hard time believing he was able to hit a moving target from that distance. I know he had a military history, but unless you regularly shoot a gun at that distance, it is VERY difficult to his a moving target with a rifle from that distance. Not impossible, but it's the one thing that has always gotten me hung up. I've been to the depository window where he shot him from, and it's a pretty long way.

Then he was killed a few hours later by some nightclub owner? There are so many things in the case that don't really add up for me, but sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.

Deep State plot to take out President because he followed an America First agenda. Sound familiar?

My grandmother is obsessed with this. She has probably read 100 books and watched 100 documentaries on it. She has some pretty wild views and conspiracy theories about what happened.

I think Oswald was the lone shooter, but I 100% believe he was coerced into doing so. Whether it was Cuban communists or the mafia, someone got him to do it.

JFK was killed because he wouldn't go along with false flag attacks like Operation Northwood in Cuba, and another planned to start war with the USSR

That's because bullets don't work quite the way they are portrayed in movies. We all believe that surely Newton's third law (equal but opposite reaction) would cause JFK's head to move forward from the bullet impact if he had been shot from behind. And if it had been solid bone all the way through it probably would have.

The human head, however, is not solid bone. Even for politicians.

LINK

This article explains the basic concept. The bullet enters Pow. It creates a pressure cavity inside the skull Blam. It exits which releases that pressure cavity Kerblooey.

At which point Sir Isaac Newton is proven right, having a decent amount of brains, blood, and bone go spurting out of your head in one way causes an equal and opposite reaction of the head jerking backwards. Its why entrance wounds tend to be smaller then exit wounds.

It probably still shouldn't have caused the dramatic jerk that JFK gave from the fatal shot but the odds are pretty good that if your brain is suddenly turned into puree there will be some odd neurological reactions. Its why some people and animals twitch spasmodically after being shot in the head. Others just drop like a rock.

As for the difficulty of the shot... I've fired a Carcano rifle and its pretty darn accurate. Oswald qualified as a sharpshooter on two occasions while a Marine which involves rapid firing at a target even further away then Kennedy was. JFK was only 81 meters away and moving at a slow and steady speed when Oswald opened fire.

Oswald shot three times, hitting JFK twice (the second shot hit at the back of the base of the neck) and that is completely doable if the shooter has any experience at all. Even marksmen who had never fired that particular type of rifle were able to achieve two out of three hits at that range and condition.

I get why people are obsessed with this. A reasonably popular President is assassinated by complete kook and we can watch it happen.

Its hard to accept a random nutjob can whack the most powerful man in the world. But every year random nutjobs manage to whack a lot of folks.

Like I said I've read the theories and the official story headshot going backwards doesn't jive with me......theoretically almost anything is possible.....I just don't believe it.

The only reason I think there’s something more to it is that Ruby killed him and they were/are heistant to release all the information on it.

Agreed.

Jack Ruby + all the government secrecy and the redacted pages of the Warren Commission, and the FACT that Oswald worked in the clandestine services.... this is all reality, not conspiracy..

..but absolutely points to conspiracy.

I'm not generally a conspiracy theorist at all, but if you don't believe there were others involved in this, you are truly being naive.
