Very common excuse. Usually a lie.

Is this because you might agree that the homelessness of children should not be political? Shouldn’t we all be concerned that some kids as young as 12 are hitting the streets because their families reject them?

Agree they are apolitical until someone makes them political. I'm not paying for the Clinton's jet fuel.

Fortunately, funding for youth shelters comes from private donations so there's no government influence in how they're run and who they can take in. Of course, government child safety agencies are heavily involved but their primary roles are to pound the scumbag parents who throw underage kids into the streets.

Excuse my naïveté but I don't see any relevance of the Clintons' jet fuel to the issue of homeless young people.

The solution is to mind your own business and to quit proclaiming your business,

No one cares anymore who you like to frick, so give it a rest.

I find it repulsive, but I'm straight, so I can only conclude being turned on by a swinging dick isn't a choice.

My business? What crawled into your underwear and is gnawing at your balls?

Man, the poli board must be full up. Some of the negative posters are drifting over to the OTB.

Maybe I'll sneak over and call Melania a whore. It's lots of fun to stir up the crazies over there.

I don't blame liberals for not wanting to go to the PB, it's bad enough as a conservative. It's one of the worst circle jerks I've ever seen on the internet.

Well, I'm a militant moderate and I do love to stir up extremists whether they're right or left. When they gather in crowds like the poli board and begin to sniff each other's butts I can't resist throwing in some raw meat and then watching the virtual feeding frenzy.

Makes my day sometimes.

Even that assertion coming from you triggers me.

Moderates once ruled. The pendulum began to swing wildly after Nixon screwed up.

Someday we'll seize the day again.

Well, to be completely honest I'm wildly conservative fiscally but equally radical regarding civil liberties so, on average...

Zionism is not a moderate position but I'll save that thought for the PB.

I am indeed a Zionist. I support a strong Israel and would happily give my life savings to that nation if needed to preserve its continuation.

Israel forever!

Not trying to attack you specifically, but I always find it funny when people say they're repulsed by it. I'm repulsed by obese people, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have the same rights as I do. I'm sure somewhere in the old testament it says something about fat people being an abomination too.

I firmly believe it's not a choice. I know several gay people that have told me their stories and none of them woke up one day and said....you know what, I choose to be gay today. They got to a point in their lives where they finally had to accept the fact that they weren't straight. That's different than making a choice.

My wife's uncle was married to a woman for 5 years. He finally got to the point where he just had to be honest with her and himself and say, this isn't me. He tried to force himself into a relationship and marriage that wasn't real because that's what was expected of him. He's been in a committed relationship for almost 20 years now with another man. The funny thing about him is if you didn't know him, you'd never know he's gay.
