There's a Bobby Petrino thread on the rant so I thought I'd ask this to a UK fan. Would you guys have taken him if he was interested over Stoops?

I saw that. There was a loud contingent of UK fans would were pushing hard for him. I wasn't really sure how to feel. I'm happy with our hire though.

They'd suck for a couple of years while he stayed out of trouble and got players who fit his system, win 9 games, see him take his rehabbed image out of town, and then wonder why their program went from a New Year's Day bowl to the laughingstock of the SEC in one offseason. He's a great Xs and Os mind but couldn't build a program for long term success to save his life.
