Why do you consider Chick-fil-a good ... they are EXCEPTIONALLY MEDIOCRE and just as unhealthy as any other fast food chain.

I'm sorry it's just the one thing I have never been impressed with that everybody else I know loves it so much that I'd actually classify it as a religion for them.
Their chicken is not any better the Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich actually it's not as good as Wendy's ... but to some people you have never tasted better food in all you life. I just don't understand this at all.

I think it's better than the huge chains Wendys/Mcdonalds/BK/Taco Bell/Subway. But yeah...it's nothing I would go out of my way to eat. I generally just have it on road trips.

Ultimately I like Zaxbys the best. But Chickfila definitely > Popeyes.

It's not apples to apples though. Chick-Fil-A makes sandwiches and Popeyes does proper fried chicken. Hard to compare.
I love some chick-fil-a though. I'm thinking the marinade in pickle juice (i'm assuming that's what they do) that makes the chicken pop.

It's the whole package. GREAT service with employees who you can understand and who genuinely seem happy to be there. It's always clean. Their coke tastes better than anywhere else. And the chicken and waffle fries are all top notch. It's not just about one menu item, it's everything.

Well based off service and cleanliness I'd agree ... as I just stated before IMO

Sometimes Chik Fil A's lemonade is pretty good. If they don't make it too sweet. Their fries are shitty though.

OH AND I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THESE STATEMENTS OF MINE DO NOT INCLUDE THEIR BREAKFAST BECAUSE IT IS ALREADY KNOWN TO BE GOAT ... when fast food is concerned.

That is an issue. They aren't of a uniform thickness, so the thicker cuts of potato don't cook long enough. They'd be better served to use the ends for hashbrowns in the morning and the middle for the waffle fries.

Well in that case I kinda do understand now ... I always just though of it as what I was actually eating ... but I get that the whole experience has as much to do with it as the food itself.
Funny thing I was at this extremely nice five star restaurant taking my then GF to dinner and just remember how poor the service was ... the entire night I was just wishing to myself they were half as good as the people that work at chick-fil-a were ...

I'm just not the biggest waffle fry fan in general. I'll take some curls over waffles every day of the week but that topic could be its own thread.
