How About an AMA Thread?

Hey all, I've been considering a thread like this for a little while now. I understand that there's a couple folks around here who seem to think that BoarEd only comes here to troll this board, and it is true that I like to tease you fine folks from time to time. So I thought maybe I could create a thread in an attempt to establish a better standing with some of the folks who I've made angry.

A bit about my background: I am nobody special, so don't take this as me gloating or anything. I am just a poor farmer. But I have been lucky enough in making friends that I have learned quite a lot about the inner workings of collegiate athletics. I know folks who have held top positions in athletic departments of multiple universities and have served on various NCAA level committees from the Committee on Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports to the NCAA Honors Committee.

All that said, I believe some folks may be interested in knowing certain things that I may be able to provide answers for from topics like various coaching searches, the seedy tactics of recruitment of our athletes, factors that play into most decisions made by our athletic departments, why the NCAA doesn't seem to be level handed in handing out punishments, etc.

Now this is a serious thread, so only serious questions will be entertained. For instance, I will not tell you guys why I am retard or when I will go die in a fire, or any other nonsense.

If I cannot answer a question I will be forthright in saying so. So go ahead, ask me anything.
