Really all depends on the guy. I've seen guys who aren't necessarily the most attractive or are really awkward fall into this because they starve for the attention (not saying Hogwall is one of those guys

I am pulling back, its weird because when we first started doing this she was the one blowing me up. Now she isn't..it was like a game to get my attention and once she got it, it was over.

as long as you let her play the game out and keep responding to her in any form...she's going to keep you around for her convenience probably. I'm telling you this as a female, remember that.

Thrill of the chase. In my experience, when I was younger, it seemed to be the male that did this.
Eta - people, male or female, who play these types of games usually are not great to have a serious relationship with, imo.

Yeah, and unfortunate, sometimes if the 2 people aren't on the same page about what it is they want.
I think the best thing to do would be for you to pull back a little, as other posters have said. If she's worth having, and wants a more serious relationship, she'll stop with the games. If not, move on; there are plenty of others. Good luck.

Yeah, I'd pump the breaks a little bit. No need to go all in before you see the flop. You don't want to may more to cut your (possible) losses for more than you need to.

Most guys are dumb enough to fall into this game. Some of us are smart enough to learn that painful lesson after 1 time.
I do feel sorry for the string of women that date a guy after he's been played and learned his lesson. They are gonna get the punishment that should have gone to that bitch who ripped his heart out.
