South AL looks pretty clean, but that is probably because the people who use twitter are smart enough not to tweet words that society has deemed reprehensible.

I've lived in both states and can tell you from personal experience Alabama is way worse than Miss.
My wife is from Cullman County in AL which is considered to be the birthplace of the clan. They had a sign up on one of the highways in Cullman that said "Don't Let The Sun Set On Your Black arse". It was finally taken down about 8 or 9 years ago. The city of Cullman is so white you can go to the walmark and stand at the front door all day long and you might not see but 1 or 2 black people walk in.
I went to a HS that was over 80% black. I don't have a problem with black people or anyone of a different race that is based solely on the color of their skin. If I don't like them its because they're an idiot most likely. Some of the people I met while living in Cullman hate anyone that is not white simply because of the color of their skin.
There is a bit of a German influence in that area. I wonder if that plays a part in the racist history.

I love the mentality that black people can't be racist. I know many racist black people. We see them about once a month on TV for one reason or another. Rev Al Sharpton and Louis Farakhan are 2 of the most racist people alive.
Mississippi has a "Black Rodeo" each year. I can't participate in it. Why? Because I am white. No one says a word about that being racist, but you let me have a "White Rodeo" and deny a black man because he is black and Al Sharpton would march on downtown Jackson.
