While Boulder is a wonderful place to live, I believe if Deion don’t win he will feel like a fish out of water. He really is trying to bring HBCU flavor to one of the whitest towns in America. Now he wants the band to be more like HBCU Bands “sonic boom flavor”. Will his style and HBCU flavor actually work in a place like Boulder Colorado?

Interesting topic but I requested it be moved to the More Sports board.

You only stay shiny if you win. He’s a hell of a hype man, but he’ll learn the reality is, if he doesn’t win, he gets no love. I hope he wins big and succeeds but he’s going to be humbled if he doesn’t.

I honestly can't believe it was CU that gave Deon his 1st P5 opportunity.
After Bill McCartney built the LA/Compton pipeline in the 80/90's & the football team raised the violent crime stats through the roof, I never thought that town was take another chance again.
Deon better run a very tight ship or that deal will be short lived. Boulder is the Twilight Zone of liberal living. Compromise isn't in their disctionary.

Anything Deion does will be an improvement over a CU team that logged 1 (ONE) win last season.

People in Boulder couldn't give two shits about Buffs football, why would they want gentlemen of questionable character running around causing havoc even if it means having a good football team? It's actually refreshing, compared w/ cultures like Alabama where the life of a young mother is just the cost of doing business.
