if you pronounce it /g/if, you're an idiot. How anyone came about pronouncing the file extension, incorrectly, with a hard G makes no sense.

Doesn't the "G" stands for "graphic," which is a hard g? It's not pronounced jraphic, so I don't get where he got "jif."
