I went to pee in the community bathroom and heard a girl's voice so I stopped and went back in the hall for a second. Then I heard a guy's voice. Then the shower turned on

Agreed. I was fortunate enough to be in a coed Corps outfit at A&M. We had community showers too, but it was way easier to just sneak in and out of each others' rooms (not to mention more sanitary).
