This thing has been moving quickly, so if your information is out of date, then that's an honest mistake. However, you should stop spreading false info.

We are not talking about Ebola. In the U.S. 15 of 21 deaths came from one nursing home. The medical care in many nursing homes is sub-par. Most of these patients have underlying medical problems.

The number of cases can keep on rising, it's not going to change the fact that it's a mild virus and most people have nothing to worry about. Those who do have something to worry about have to worry about the regular flu already.
Don't know how old you are, but they do this shite about every 10 years. Always chicken littles like you saying how bad it is, always the media talking about how everyone is going to die, always a bunch of people who try to make money off it and fear monger and in the end the flu still ends up being more dangerous.
Actually, that's probably given this virus a bit too much credit, since it's not even as bad as the others, except for media attention which is way worse.

I was out and about today and no one is freaked out about this thing. Everyone went and brought hand sanitizer cause they were told to and it makes it look like it was mad rush. A stroll through my facebook (which I get on about once a week), looks like about 90% of the people are posting silly memes or gifs that seem to indicate they aren't concerned 2 sh*ts about this. The other 10% is the same 2 people posting headlines over and over to the point it is annoying.

is it just me or does it seem every three or four years we have a virus that is “ going to wipe out half the world’s population”? Swine Flu? Bird Flu? Ebola?
I think if you follow CDC recommendations chances of getting this will be reduced greatly. This too will pass and I’m willing to bet in a couple years there will be something else.

By this logic, shouldn't we just shut down the airports? Roughly 1.8 million people fly in the USA every day.
March Madness will actually help, as 85% of the people watch it at home. And the stadium crowds can't even approach the number of people from flying. Why not stop the NBA season? XFL? MLB?
