Because it's a very mild virus and unless you are elderly and/or have a weakened immune system, it's not a big deal.

Don’t be naive. This has potential to wreck our health care system.

You’re not going to die from this unless you’re old and/or in fragile health.

So you do not care about any old or fragile people?

Finally, some one who gets it.
It becomes a lot more serious if we can't provide health care to people.
Flu is also not going to go away just because CV moved in.

Yes. You are either not paying attention or are just ignorant.

One person gets Coronavirus = shut the whole city down. Amazing how our society loves to live in fear.

Nashville just had a tornado and a coronavirus patient and it's still running. Not sure how they are living in fear.

It certainly does. It already happened in China and it’s happening as we speak in Italy.

It will 100% clog our health care system if it is not contained.

I still have hope we will learn from what happened in China, RoK, and Italy and institute measures to prevent its spread outside of the few communities that are already impacted (NYC,Seattle,LA)

More than half the States have confirmed cases. It's spreading like wildfire. If you have loved ones who are elderly, you should be very concerned.

I do - quite a few actually, which is why I'm as concerned as I am.
It actually makes me sad to see so many people on here in such pointless denial... It's really not looking good.

Yes, it's fake news. WHO even put out warnings about fake news, which is apparently a bigger threat than the actual virus.

Coronavirus: WHO warns of fake news 'infodemic'

Coronavirus Is Creating a Fake-News Nightmarescape

I have this weird condition where I listen to people who know about things, like Doctors, and then ignore people who don't, like Chicken Littles on internet forums.

Doctors all basically say the same things - not that big of deal, the flu kills more people, etc. Most people won't even need a hospital if they were to catch it.

So why are you on the internet spreading fear? What do you have to gain from it?
