the only way this ends is when they stop running backs from lowering their heads, and yes, the game, like the rest of this country, is going to be done in by leftgressive pussies and betamale cuckpublicans.

You can enjoy the sport and also realize that there needs to be a ton more research into head injuries and how to prevent them.

I think they should ban players from having crazy hair styles. When you see players with a bunch of hair piled inside of a helmet or streaming out of a helmet, there's no way that helmet is fitting them properly.

I personally know three ex-NFL football players: Kevin Turner, Zeke Smith, and Martin Houston. Of the three, Kevin Turner is fighting ALS, Zeke Smith has Alzheimer's, and Martin Houston gets around despite his knees.

I love football, but it takes its toll of the people that play it. Just because someone points out the possible long term health consequences, doesn't make them bad.

I don't care if this sounds harsh, but it's true. No fans give a rat's arse about CTE, concussions or any other lingering injuries these players suffer while playing the game. I damned sure don't.

I want to see Ronnie Lott decapitating receivers over the middle. I want to see LT and DT crushing QBs. I want Dick Butkus and Patrick Willis hospitalizing RBs and TEs. I want the violence that football is supposed to provide in all its majesty.

I can't believe the NFL and ESPN are aiding and abetting the destruction of their own product so willingly.

Take away modern helmets and everyone protects their head. Problem solved.

I downvoted because you had six up votes and eight down. Anytime you can make a 6-9, you should take it. Sorry bout it, V&S.

i agree, but in all fairness. They know the risks when they sign on that multi million dollar contract that will support them and their family to generations to come...if invested wisely.

Fwiw I'm taking a neuroscience class this semester. The teacher used the concussion movie as an example when we were talking about brain damage. It was very eye opening to say the least.

But I still believe players should be allowed to decide how rough they want to play. Let them know the risks and then they can make their decision. But sadly it's others trying to make the game safer for the players that will likely be the death of football as we know it one day.

Eta part of letting the players know all the risks is not censoring a movie that talks bad about the NFL.
