I am not reading this thread but I don't think the divide between conservatives and liberals in college are as big as the OP suggest.
In fairness to the OP, he's never stepped foot inside of a college classroom.

I worked at my university and I can assure you that every government, history, and economics teacher we had were registered democrats. Some good (classic do'er well types like Duke and Spleen, whom I respect), some too progressive for my tastes, even in the late 90's-2000's.
What i think skews the statistic is that academia is overwhelmingly liberal. Not a bad thing, just is what it is. That being said, the majority of people that do post grad work are usually in academia anyways. Out of and Drs. that you know, (non-md) I would bet the majority of them at still in academia.
So we're basing the idea that more highly educated people are liberal, when in actuality, more highly educated people tend to lean towards a certain profession that lends itself to more liberal tendencies. Why academics lean liberal is any bodies guess, but I would wager it's the high accomplishment with the lower wages.

Why do lefties love Bill Clinton so much? He was accused of sex crimes and at the very least was using and abusing women, And like it has been said,it is the seriousness of the charge not guilt or innocence.

How so is that conjecture good sir?
I think it's valid. Just like saying that farming lends itself to more conservatives. That doesn't mean it's only conservative people who farm, just it happens to turn out that way that most are.
You and I don't agree on much but I wasn't going for a knock on leftist people.

What sex crime was Clinton accused of?

Paula Jones? Monica Lewinskyish? You serious clark?
that being said, I don't think he really "assaulted" either, but didn't like keeping his willie in his pants. i think both willingly gave it up if anything.

It was a sexual harassment lawsuit which started the whole misbegotten chain of events. Which you know and are parsing. Which is kinda ironic in context.

Oh yeah, I had honestly forgotten about the Paula Jones case.

In my experience econ and business profs are overwhelmingly conservative, professional schools and the sciences can be either, and liberal arts tend to be liberal. Different schools have different cultures, and that mix can change.

You're wrong but I'm more interested why you think that.
You also have anger issues. Might wanna check on that with a professional.

No, I'm not an Obama fan by any means. I really wouldn't want to listen to any politician save for a small few.

You said people who do post grad work stay in academia. You have no evidence to back up that claim, thus it's conjecture.
