Had to do it for a month in college due to a POS apartment complex, and that was all I needed. Not a fan. I will after a workout, but thats about it.

I sweat pretty quickly, so colder showers actually feel better

I can't take really hot showers because it dries my skin out something awful.
I don't think I could do cold ones consistently unless it was in the summer.

I'm about to go try it.
Which is awesome that I read shite on a message board and am convinced to go try it.

But what about weakening your immune system? If you've been exposed to a virus or if your body is fighting one or a sinus infection, lowered body temp will make you more susceptible right?
Maybe Roger Klarvin will chime in on this.

I am. The Z pack knocked the strep out pretty quick, but I'm still a little lethargic. Should be good in time for vacation.

It also raises fertility.

No joke, cold showers in the morning are FAR better for you than warm or hot showers. It doesn't take long to get used to them.
There are many benefits to cold showers, but one of them is that they jump start your metabolism, increase alertness, and normalize your blood pressure.
I recommend everyone take cold showers in the morning. You'll feel better overall.

The metabolism part is noticeable.
Weight isn't a problem, but my body just feels tighter (not less flexible). Like there's that extra 1ish percentage of body fat gone because of the cold showers.

I don't like how it makes my penis shrivel up to where it's only 6 inches long

I've switched during the last 15 seconds of my showers from hot to cold...it definitely wakes you up, and is supposed to have positive effect on stimulating the immune system.

The hot-cold switch I've read about.
I'm sure 15 seconds has benefits. The article I read on it talked about 1 minute increments. Circulation benefits were big with this method, I think.
