So the last few months I developed a really bad receding hairline on the path to baldness. Nowadays everywhere I go from the grocery store to the hair salon to the doctors office has these products they push for the situation, but is there one someone else uses and can recommend?

Thank you in advance.

Give up on your dreams and start shaving your head. It would have saved my dad thousands of dollars and years of embarrassment with that reverse mohawk he sported.

It's not that bad yet, I just want to stop it from getting worse if I can.

Can't help you there, I shaved my head for the first time when I was 25 because one of my best friends was going through chemo ( a bunch of us did this show her support), and the chicks started digging my sexy, shiny dome. Haven't looked back since.

Bald is beautiful, embrace it. Look at it this way, the more hair you lose, the more head you get.

Drink your urine. It might not regrow the hair but should stop the balding.

I don't often agree with V&S but I agree with this. If you have a issue own it before you let some marketer own you. I am an old large white male but I own my imperfections from the start and chicks seem to dig it. I also seem to appeal to the "bear" gay subculture so if you are bald and gay find the gay dude that loves bald guys.

There are some products that slow it, but just tap out. Don't fight it. I've had thinned hair at the front (it's not so bad) for like 6 or 7 years, but if you'll know when it looks ridiculous.

Don't buy the products, they're just ripping you off.

Vanity is overrated. Why waste money on it? A buzz cut or shave it and be done for months and then you have all that money you'd spend on haircuts or hair growth to do something fun.

This is the point that needs to be hammered home to the OP.

The only two drugs that might work are Minoxidil (Rogain) and Finasteride (Propecia), but results vary, and the side-effects are considerable.

The spray on hair works surprisingly good if you want to mask it for a while.

Shave your head, grow a goatee and sport the Walter White look. It's about as badass as a bald, white, middle-age guy can look.

Well I mean, you can buy the products if you like your dick not working right. I know there are some foods that help slow/stave it, but outside of that if something worked without your dick getting choked out, then it'd be on the market and almost every man alive would be using it.
