Yea it was pretty nasty. The Hmong community in Wisconsin/Minnesota hasn’t assimilated well and hunting disputes (and gangs) like these are common LINK.
There were people with “Save a Deer, shoot a Hmong” bumper stickers and a few years later a Hmong hunter was stabbed to death. LINK
The Chai Vang shooting was in a county north of mine but the victims were all from around my Hometown so there’s a memorial park there. One of the families didn’t have a great reputation and were known for causing trouble so I don’t doubt they escalated the situation but it didn’t need to end in six deaths.

Not sure how large an area they cover but when we travel home to NWLA we always include at least one stop to Southern Classic for fried chicken and a large side of fried okra.

There is this gas station where I'm from and they sell food within and I swear they got the best fried chicken (on bone) and it is cheap too. I think like two chicken breasts are like $5 but better than all the fried chicken I've tried in that town (work there). There are like 4-6 of those gas stations strewn across town and they all fire if you catch them when they are fresh.

Best pulled pork barbecue and ribs I have ever had were from a gas station in Flowood, MS that was on my way to and from work. I would sometimes eat 3 meals a day there, as their biscuits were damn good, too. I swear I gained 10 lbs. because of that place.

Popeyes isn't overrated. Bojangles is pure wanna be, KFC chicken is really bad and Churches is dang near 3rd world piss poor
