Honestly, that's what happens in most research. The troubling aspect? They had 24 beagles to be tested, but only had enough acid for 6 of them. Even if the experiment would have been successful, the sample size was to small to solidify the research findings. Essentially, the dogs died for nothing. THAT'S the fricked up part.
