what would you conjecture is the most common black on black violence if not gang/drug related?

Gang and drug are very different. Gang related deaths that are confirmed only amount to 5% of homicides.

FWIW, I think school vouchers and charter/private schools being a good first step. Let the parents who want their kids out have options as to where to send their kids.

Schools are the key to solving our city problems. No one with means will subject their kid to an education that isn't safe and stable and doesn't meet basic educational goals. And you need those people staying in the city. Or being able to move into the city.

Private schools and charter schools are the biggest issues facing our communities. Close them and have every child (outside of homeschoolers) integrated into the public school system and we would see almost immediate positive changes.

So ..... close the schools that work, fire the teachers that do their job, and force every kid into the public school shite show.

Good idea Comrade!

Y'all don't get it.

ETA: it's a shitshow because scared white people (for the most part) took their ball and went home when they could've stayed and been a part of a larger solution.

Horse hockey. The way bussing was drawn up in the late 60's and 1970's was absurd. Continuing to blame white people while holding blacks unaccountable for their own actions is insane.

I got you, but public schools struggle in part because it's a big organization mired with politics and the corruption and administrative waste that drains useful funds away.

Decentralization of schools in large urban centers would do wonders.

Just say you don't want your little angel to go to school with scary black people. At least be honest about it. Plenty of world-changers go through the public school system and plenty of meth-heads go through a private school system.

Just say you know better than every other parent in the U.S. and should be appointed Czar of Education with full power to force parents to do "the right thing".

Brilliant.
